Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place on 1-7 February 2021. This year's theme is Express Yourself.
Staff and Governors will be 'expressing themselves' by sharing the hobbies they enjoy at home to improve their own well-being. We will be inviting children of all ages to take part in a well-being pick n mix of activities for the day, away from screens and devices!
The week is 'not about being the best at something or putting on a performance for others. It is about finding a way to show who you are, and how you see the world, that can help you feel good about yourself'.
Remember children, on Friday, ‘Dress to Express’. The idea is simple – use colour to express yourself by wearing a colourful outfit to a class ZOOM and parents are invited to make a donation to Place2Be, who provide mental health services in schools. The class teacher’s ZOOM link will appear on the class SeeSaw.
