Poetry Competition Showcases Outstanding Talent

We recently held our annual Poetry Competition and were incredibly proud of every pupil who took part. From our youngest children in Little Lions to our Year 6 pupils, the whole school embraced the challenge of learning and performing poetry.

Children impressed us by confidently reciting poems they had memorised, with some even choosing to perform poems they had written themselves. Their enthusiasm, expression and dedication were clear to see, and it was wonderful to watch their hard work come to life on stage.

We were delighted to welcome so many parents and family members to the event. Their support helped create a fantastic atmosphere and made the occasion even more special for our performers.

Our judges certainly had a difficult task in selecting the winners, with such a high standard of performance throughout the school. We were especially impressed by how confidently the children performed in front of an audience and how well practised they were.

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part and to our winners. It was a wonderful celebration of poetry, creativity and confidence across the whole school. Well done, everyone! 📖✨
