At St. Mark’s Primary School, we believe that education is not only about academic excellence but also about fostering values, compassion, and a deep sense of community. Our dedicated staff, rooted in the rich traditions of Catholic education, are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
Following our SATs results in June 2025, our school ranked second in Maths and Grammar and third in Reading out of 44 schools in Ipswich. Our attendance, which is a very important indicator of a well-performing school, was the highest in Ipswich. While we are proud of these academic achievements, our central focus remains the formation of pupils’ character—developing resilience, reflection, integrity, responsibility and confidence—alongside strong leadership skills. We firmly believe, that our positive ethos, securely embedded values, and high expectations ensure that pupils are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education and for life beyond school, positioning us as one of the leading schools in Suffolk.
